ఈనపుల్ల

A Telugu-English dictionary: "ఈన [ īna ] Same as ఈనె. ఈనపుడక or ఈనపుల్ల īna-puḍaka. [Tel.] n. The long grass of which brooms are made."

(పుడక is an interesting word. It most likely originates as a word equivalent to పుల్ల (పుట్టుకతో వచ్చింది పుడకలతో పోతుంది etc). Was the first ముక్కుపుడక a పుల్ల?!)
